Large print word search puzzles

Pick a theme. Each one has 100 different puzzles on a big 15 by 15 grid with 15 words to find. Mark words on screen by tapping their first and last letter, or print the page and use a pencil. Words read forward, down and diagonally, never backwards.

Questions people ask

Are the puzzles really free?

Yes. Every puzzle prints for free, there is no account and no limit on how many copies you make for family, residents or a class.

How large is the print?

Letters come out at 24 point on paper, which is about twice the size of a paperback. On screen you can raise the text size with the A buttons at the top of the page.

Do words run backwards?

No. Words read left to right, downwards and diagonally down. Backwards words make the puzzle harder in a way that frustrates rather than entertains.

Where is the answer key?

On the puzzle page, press Show answers to see it on screen, or Print with answer key to get the key on its own sheet.

Can a puzzle be solved without printing?

Yes. Tap the first letter of a word and then its last letter. The word is highlighted and crossed off the list, and your progress is kept if you come back later.

Which theme suits someone with memory loss?

Familiar everyday subjects work best: the kitchen, the garden, farm animals, the fifties. Recognising a word feels like a small win, which is the point.
